See the Full Picture. Make Better Decisions.

The BSC 3Cs Assessment helps individuals, communities, organizations, and systems understand Context, Choices, and Consequences — so decisions are informed, intentional, and accountable.

The BSC 3Cs Decision Readiness Assessment

The BSC 3Cs Decision Readiness Assessment is BSC’s foundational diagnostic tool, designed to help individuals, groups, and organizations pause before action and make decisions with clarity and accountability.

Rather than rushing to solutions, the assessment guides participants through three essential dimensions of decision-making: Context, Choices, and Consequences.

What the assessment examines

Context

Participants examine the personal, organizational, or systemic conditions shaping the decision, including constraints, influences, assumptions, and power dynamics.

Participants clarify the real options available, identify where agency exists, and examine alignment between values, goals, and possible paths forward.

Participants explore short-term, long-term, and unintended outcomes of their choices, including who benefits, who bears risk, and what responsibility follows.

What this assessment provides

  • A structured pause before action
  • Clear framing of complex decisions
  • Increased awareness of responsibility and impact
  • A shared language for discussion and alignment

The assessment does not prescribe answers. It builds decision readiness
